01
We love Jesus.
Our purpose is to share the hope of Jesus. Everything we do is centered around Him, and we will do everything short of sin to make it as easy as possible for people to encounter Him.

How it started
To understand where we are today, it helps to look back at how it started.
2015
Movement Church began as a dream God placed in Pastor Brandon’s heart as a teenager in 2015.
The decade after
He prepared to lead through a decade of full-time ministry prior to launching Movement. This calling was later confirmed in Pastor Maya’s life as she stepped into full-time ministry as well.
2020
When they married in 2020, they committed their lives to the calling of planting a life-giving church wherever and whenever God lead them.
Charlotte to Atlanta
After years of ministry in Charlotte and Atlanta, they sensed God leading them to build a church that would impact Austin, a city that is impacting the world.
Today
Today that dream has become Movement Church, a vibrant and growing community in Hutto, reaching people and seeing lives transformed.

01
Our purpose is to share the hope of Jesus. Everything we do is centered around Him, and we will do everything short of sin to make it as easy as possible for people to encounter Him.
02
Church is meant to be enjoyed, not endured! Following Jesus isn't only the “right” way, but it's the best and most enjoyable way of life. An abundant, joyful, and passionate life with Jesus should be reflected in the local church.
03
With God, all things are possible in ways beyond what we can ask, think or imagine. We don't limit God with our thinking; instead, we dream big, believing that God can and wants to move in our lives, in our city, and in His church.
04
We honor God by the way we honor one another. We go above and beyond in the way we treat people. We believe that honor is never silent, so we are loud about celebrating others.
05
God and those we serve are worth our best, every time. Everything we do is worth doing to the best of our ability. We choose maximize everything God's put in our hands.
06
We don't just say ‘welcome home,’ we genuinely believe that this just might be the home you're looking for! We believe that the message of Jesus isn't about behavior modification; it's about life transformation. We invite everyone to come as you are and see what God has for you.
07
We'll always choose to be most vocal about what we're for, not what we're against. We don't let preference get in the way of people encountering God. Instead of majoring on minor things, we keep the main thing the main thing.
08
We choose to serve, lead, and give like everything is a gift – because it is. Rather than showing up out of obligation, we view everything as an opportunity.

We exist to connect people to a life-giving relationship with Jesus.
Moving people towards purpose.
→ Statement of Faith
Our Statement of Faith reflects the biblical beliefs we hold as a church. These convictions have been shaped through study, prayer, and meaningful conversations, and they guide our theology and teaching. In sharing them, our goal is simply to be clear about who we are.
